The Land Consolidation Division participates at the moment in FAO land consolidation and land management project in Armenia, Serbia, Hungary and Lithuania.

The Directorate for Food, Fisheries and Agri Business participates in the implementation of a land management project in Kosovo as partner in a consortium together with two German companies.

In the period January-July 2005 a pilot project will be prepared based on analysis of the present situation in Moldova and international best experiences and in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry in Moldova.

The Land Consolidation Division will participate with the International Land Consolidation expert in a land consolidation project in Armenia from November 2004 to October 2006.

A new Land Consolidation Act is under preparation at the moment.

The Land Consolidation Division has in the period Februar - September 2004 participated in an EU Twinning Light project in Lithuania.

Mr. Torben Nielsen has been appointed new head of the Land Consolidation Division from 1st November, 2004.

The Land Consolidation Division arranged together with FAO the International Workshop in Tonder, Denmark 17.-20. March, 2004:

Ph.D. with the dissertation “Land Registration in Developing Countries”.

The Land consolidation Division has finished the second land consolidation project in Lithuania.
